I’m reaching out to ask about a custom wood piece I’d like to get quoted, with the goal of producing it in small quantities.
It’s a wall-mounted wood egg holder , an arched wood panel that hangs on the wall, with tiered shelves below that have egg-shaped cutouts to hold real eggs. The whole piece is solid wood, no other materials involved.
Measurements :H 13.5". W 8.5". widest part Shelves 2 x 5" L x 2"w
2 x 7.7 L x 2" w.
I wanted to get a sense of feasibility, pricing at different quantities, and lead time.
A few things I’d love your input on:
- Whether this is something you’d be able to produce, and at what quantities
- Rough price per unit at a few different volumes ( 1, 10, 50, 100)
- Lead time for a prototype vs. a full order
- Recommended wood species and finish options
