Foam testing for laser cutting

is there a way to test unknown foam for things like cyanide before lasering?
i know about the chlorine test but i know theres other nastyness that can be released.

thinking about cutting some toolchest inserts out of some foam we have at work from pelican cases but i don’t want to kill anyone in the process

Are you using “kaizen foam”

it looks a lot like it, but im not 100% sure. this stuff has been in a bin in the back of our warehouse for years…
