Dado brake for sawstop

I was having trouble locating a functioning dado brake for the sawstop.
I found one in a drawer to the left side of the compound miter saw, which had been triggered and was embedded into a blade. I assume this was kept for demonstration purposes.

I found another one which initially did not appear to be triggered, but was expanded too much to fit. It was bound against the 8 inch dado blades. When I removed it, it did hinge open.
I don’t know if there’s a functioning break locked up somewhere or in a different location.

I only need about a 3/16 to 1/4inch slot cut multiple times in 4 8 foot boards. I tried making multiple passes, but this is a pain. I’m going to buy an 8 inch dado brake for the sauce stop.
I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if there’s a functioning break somewhere in the shop.

Follow up:

I did buy a new dado brake for the sauce stop. I left it in the bottom drawer next to the compound miter saw

This one does work. I left it in the original packaging to help identify it.

Thank you Fred! I don’t believe we had anymore on hand. I’ll make sure to order backups.
