Hey I ran a job today and I think the spoilboard has gotten to a point where there’s so little contact area now the vacuum isn’t doing as much as it should be. I had a 30”x60” panel move on me, and some other smaller stuff later on.
Would someone kindly resurface or replace the spoilboard soon? It was last done on 6/14, just feels like a long time. My hunch is that the vacuums are working but we’re just in need of a spoilboard replacement/resurface. Might be worth double checking the vacuums.
Also whoever was in earliest today left everything on - I assume this was due to lack of caffeine!
There are a lot of really deep gouges in the spoilboard. I ended up using tape & glue for a project because I couldn’t get the vacuum to hold it down at all.
I do believe one of the vacuum pumps has an issue. it wasn’t getting up to the full vacuum even after changing the valve and adjusting it all the way out. Further inspection needs to be done. checking the line isn’t clogged etc. not sure if the phenolic needs to be removed to check them or what.
