I have fired my test tiles with this rod at other studios and it’s successful. I’ve added the link to buy them and a picture of how I use it.

I don’t think this should be a problem – the rod appears to be rated to cone 11, far below our firing temp of cone 6 and any potential drips or failures seem like they would be contained within the clay box you constructed. I am tagging @Katy for final say/approval, but I don’t think it should be an issue.

It looks fine to me - I like the contained nature of it in case it fails.
