The lens is burned and looks cracked. Don’t know what happened. Worked perfectly on Tuesday morning.

Yep the lens was blackened with soot, and split.
I mounted a new lens. I had a work meeting and didn’t have time to do a full check of the machine- now that I think of it, the exhaust airflow does need to be checked. It’s possible for the plenum to get clogged and there won’t be airflow on one side of the bed so the smoke can tend to end up going onto the lens.
