Summary: Ground clamp part missing
Additional Info: The piece that holds the braided copper on the inside of the clamp was missing when I came in today on the clamp that was just replaced last week. There were no signs of it on the floor so I’m guessing someone threw it away. You cannot weld if that braided copper isn’t connected on both sides. Luckily we had a backup ground clamp that I replaced it with and got the nuts tightened down as much as I could but we should not be going through ground clamps that quickly. Always inspect your ground clamp before welding.
Someone could recreate a piece for this out of copper that matches the left side as a simple side project😉
