Yes, we have had some leaks there during hard/long rains. @Rolo@valerie Is the roof a landlord responsibility? If so, we’d better notify them; if not, we’d better find someone to seal that ourselves.
I don’t know if the landlord is responsible, but I do know our roofing company is required to be Kentex Roofing.
We can reach out to them to get something corrected more quickly regardless of responsibility just to make sure it’s taken care of, then work out potential reimbursement later.
This looks like it’s spots where we added roof penetrations, right? If so, it’d be on us to follow up with the company that did the penetrations (I believe Kentex) to get them to fix it. Hoping there was a clause/guarantee around sealing where they did the penetrations
I don’t believe we added roof penetrations to this particular area. At least not in the last year. I was only part of adding to the new bathrooms, kilns, and welding area.
These are where AC power (and plumbing?) lines go through the roof. I think either we or the people we hired to do AC changed what went through that hole, then didn’t finish sealing it properly. @jamesfreeman would know more about what was done.
